Yea, it’s another meme. But I love lists of things to accomplish in life. I feel compelled to complete all 100 items on almost any 100-item list. Yes, you could probably do bad things with this knowledge (though nothing and nobody could make me do #41 or #94).

Love it. Absolutely love it. Items on your list that have given me a lot of pleasure and/or fulfillment are:

15 – Adopted a child ( x2!) – they are my treasures.
11 – Bungee Jumping – the day after I was married, in Queenstown, New Zealand. Although they spell it “bungy” down there.
8 – back when I was climbing, I loved the view from the top. I’m no peak-bagger, but there’s something special about the pinnacle.

Bungee jumping in New Zealand sounds like a truly awesome honeymoon :)

Did 88. As an adult. Not a good time, get it out of the way when you're a kid if you can.

Granted, I went through this list fairly quickly. Still … I didn't see “French kiss a cat” on there, anywhere.

Oh, I guess I should add (since that seems to be the game)…

I've done: 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 14, 18, 22, 23, 24, 26, 29, 30, 33, 34, 41, 45, 48, 52, 53, 54, 57, 65, 69, 76, 84, 92, 93, “helped” with 94, and 99.

Looks like I've a long way to go, yet.

I like the idea of this list. Having a list of life experiences and being able to cross them off is awesome. However, I think it should contain items that you want to achieve. “”Been fired from a job” or “been involved in a lawsuit” are not things to strive for. Also, they should be things within your control. “Got flowers for no reason” is dependent upon someone else providing them to you, and you cant control their motivation. For example, guys give flowers to girls all the time, but they hope it’ll lead to sex.

Additionally, I think it would add a whole level of awesome to be able to provide evidence of accomplishing the task by linking to it from your blog. e.g. For travel oriented things, it might be a picture of you in that place. I’m gonna work on updating this list and put it on my own blog at andrewwoods.net/blog
